Miller Launch New Immersive GT Series Product Portal


Miller UK has today released a dedicated product portal to support the launch of its GT Series of innovative quick couplers. The new immersive product portal has been designed to provide the ultimate user-friendly experience with improved navigation and functionality throughout, allowing visitors to access detailed product information and interactive videos.

We spoke with Miller Director of Marketing Barry Robison to find out more about the new portal launch and how customers can now benefit from richer online product technical content that is easier to navigate and share with others, assisting the specification process.

Can you tell me what is the new Miller Sphere?

The Internet is moving towards a “web 4.0” phase, which will be characterized by a more immersive and intuitive user experience. The Miller Sphere is a totally new way to experience the web, and its architecture has been designed for the future of VR and the metaverse.

The Miller GT Sphere is an innovative SaaS based web platform which breaks new ground on how certain things work within the web environment, and thus how we behave within in.

Miller GT product Sphere has been designed for the next phase of the internet journey, creating a 3D immersive world for our customers to journey through as part of the GT visualisation story.

**Web 4.0 is a term used to describe a new phase of the Web where users can interact more seamlessly.

How does it work?

As the global transition to immersive web 4.0 technology gathers pace, we are seeing the increasing need to differentiate our product propositions to consumers and to maintain control over their brand experience whilst generating deeper unique insights into consumer behaviour.

The Miller Sphere has been specially designed and built on top of ubiquitous 3D code that works in any web browser. It is called WebGL, the 3D version of HTML used to move 2D graphics within traditional web pages.

In a world where context and environment can be brought to bear on our behaviour and decision making, Sphere has developed intellectual property that clusters visual information elegantly, automatically adjusting for scale, posing elements into clusters that can adapt intuitively. Like a city, clusters of all shapes and sizes are mapped into Spheres that consumers can effortlessly journey around or ‘browse’.
